Art of Loving Advice

Question:
I'm a single male (never married, no children, age 41) who started dating a woman (never married) who has two children (ages 5 & 10). I'm interested in information on the problems, solutions, etc., that are related to such a relationship. I have NO IDEA of what I am in for should I marry a woman with kids. (Note: She has a crazy "ex" whom she has a protective restraining order against.) Thanks.

I guess I have to ask you honestly at 41, do you really want this type of relationship? There are a lot of issues and complications here that are going to make your relationship difficult. It will take solid work by you and the lady to have a successful relationship with one another. There are many great books on my web site that will provide you with the information you seek. I would also read the articles in the love and relationship section of my web site, www.artofloving.com I would pay close attention to my article on Priorities. Priorities are the key to the success of any loving relationship.
