One Man's Thoughts To Another About Love

We all get more cynical about women as we get older. Really what the pain is, simply the dying pain of an illusion that we cultivate as younger men. The illusion serves a purpose (Mother Nature's).

Tell you how I got over it. I started paying for their time with cash
instead of "emotional currency". Once that occurred I began to see that I was receiving back the same type of flattery and feathers (that I was now getting for my currency of cash) that I previously had received when paying in emotional currency units. For awhile this confused me. I resolved for a time that just whores were able to do this. This rationalization protected my original concept of women and preserved the emotional vision
of 'woman-the-good'.

Eventually, after enough exposure to whores, (500 or so) I realized what millions of men down thru time have realized; namely that all women are the same. Now I was confronted with 'THE TRUTH' of the matter. For a short while this was depressing. I got cynical about women and the state of love.
Then, something happened, a gestalt if you will. I accepted the fact that this was inbred into the species and I forgave them. This was a defining moment, because now it lifted the shame from my mind of treating the Whores as lesser beings. In fact, they now seemed higher beings because they at least play the game honestly and do not pretend to love you more than the
regular girls and not for dishonest reasons. The cards are on the table, face up. What you see is what you get. What you get is what you pay for.

Then the last and final phase, "THE REWARD". I started to enjoy all kinds of flavors of women with a conscience free of guilt.

Your problem has been the same as mine once was (IMHO); you have not yet had the cash to go thru this experience and you still are trying to pay with emotional currency, but you have no takers. Why? Because you are a poor gamble with the girls. You are beyond your prime and they see no evidence of wealth, so they are not accepting the emotional currency, in order to get what they really want, the cash currency. That is the simple
fact of it.

Now, to get back in stride with human nature, and free yourself of this self-flagellation that you keep whipping your poor heart with, you need to get with the program. That means dropping the young man's naive illusion of love, accept the facts about the two currencies of love and then get on with the enjoyment of life.

This means you need to make some money. Concentrate on that. Those are the facts. Accept them, or else dying in agony ignoring them. The choice is yours.
